Bunnies in the Hoooouuuse (fashion)!

The second I saw the e-mail that went out to all... offering a free rabbit fur coat I was sure I was the first to respond. But I wasn't. Another mutual friend, part of the Rabbit Fur Coat offer e-mail group responded first, but it has been said that she never followed up. So the coat ended up at a friend's party, in a brown paper bag. I saw the coat immediately and inquired of its home, owner and whereabouts. It appeared that I still was not to own it- as the first e-mail girl was at the party.

I had to have this coat! I dreamt of owning this coat, without ever seeing it. It's soft fur, puffy exterior, the warmth, the feeling of always wanting to touch it...all I knew was it was from the 70's and belonged to a woman's mother. That's all I needed. And Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins played over and over in my head. It was meant to be.

I am a crusader, saver of fur. I feel bad that already existing fur has such a bad rap. I mean, it's already dead and here, why not use fur fur it's fullest potential? Well I do.

We did a walk off and I feel that I won, well I must have won because I have the coat. I sleep with the coat every night and wear it to every event possible. Just last night I showed it off at the Theater off Jackson. Eat Your Heart Out Seattle!

Rabbit fur coats are a fine addition to anyone's home.
