Living alone is expensive, living with others is messy

I want a house that looks like this!
I like the company of living with others, but can’t deal with unintentional decor or cheap carpeting. I’ve never ever had a housekeeper, but think it would be great to have one.

Perhaps I should look to share a fabulous house with a few friendly, communicative, clean freaks who care about home neatness like myself, Martha or one of these fine, fine ladies.

Graystones don't exist in Seattle and I think in order to be happy I need to live in one. I just see myself waving out the window of one in Logan Square- just blocks from burritos, the blue line EL and village discount outlet. I wouldn't mind living in my parents house either. I grew up in it. It's my dream to buy it, rip it apart and make it beautiful.

She's Crafty

I wish I was Martha Stewart. I wish I could stay home all day long and fix up my house detail by detail...like creating window treatments, making slip covers, baking bread and planting flowers. Until I find my escape, until I find my true happiness, I'll have to keep making things like the smoking lady and anarchy kitty family. They will pull through for me- to fill the void. I wonder if I could ever make a real living making these things. The last sale I made nothing. Still fun though.
